Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) set out the agreement between Jessica Tyler Photography (“the Photographer”, “I”, “me”, or “my”) and the client (“you” or “the Client”) for the provision of photography services including, but not limited to, family, children, newborn, lifestyle, and headshot photography. By booking a session, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Booking and Payment

  • The balance is due no later than 2 days before the scheduled session, unless otherwise specified.
  • Payments should be made via bank transfer, or any other method specified on the booking form.

3. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Client Cancellation: If you cancel your booking more than 7 days before the session, your booking fee will be retained but no further payment is due. Cancellations within 7 days of the session will result in the full session fee being due.
  • Rescheduling: One reschedule is permitted (subject to availability) at no additional charge, provided at least 48 hours’ notice is given. Further reschedules may incur an additional fee.
  • Photographer Cancellation: In the unlikely event that I need to cancel, you will be offered an alternative date. If this is not suitable, all payments made (including the booking fee) will be refunded in full.

4. Session Details

  • Sessions typically take place either at your home, an agreed outdoor location, or a hired space. The Photographer will advise on suitable locations.
  • The Photographer is not liable for limited coverage due to the late arrival of participants or other restrictions outside of her control.

5. Image Delivery

  • Digital galleries are usually delivered within 3–4 weeks of the session.
  • Images are supplied in JPEG format only. RAW files are not provided.
  • Final image selection and editing is at the Photographer’s discretion.

6. Copyright and Usage

  • All images remain the copyright of Jessica Tyler Photography.
  • Clients are granted a personal licence to use, print, and share their images for personal use only.
  • Images may not be used for commercial purposes without prior written agreement.
  • Clients will be asked to complete a form confirming their preferences for image use, including whether they are happy for their images to be shared on the website, featured in promotional materials, or kept solely for personal use.

7. Liability

  • Every care will be taken with your photographs, but liability is limited to the return of all payments made.
  • The Photographer is not responsible for injury, loss, or damage to individuals or property during the session.
  • Jessica Tyler Photography holds full Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance.

8. Complaints

  • Any concerns should be raised in writing within 7 days of image delivery. Every effort will be made to resolve issues promptly and fairly.
